10/4/12 - Landed at Narita.  What a good flight!  Got through Customs quite smoothly, went to exchange our U.S. Currency for yen, got our Japan based phones and we were off to find the subway.  Thank God we had our Subway map ready! 

Made it to the Subway......waiting for our train.

 

And we're off!  It's a long ride to Tokyo but we're so excited it doesn't even seem that long.

Passed through the countryside, lots and lots of rice paddies......

 

 

Got off at Asakusabashi, asked for assistance and found our hotel.  Checked in, settled down and off we went. 

 

Smallest accommodations but really CLEAN!

 

Went to find something to eat and found this Soba shop.  Soba mein with Tempura.....Yummy!

 

 

 

Went walking around Asakusabashi before we called it a night.  Gotta get up early and head out to Tsukiji Market!  Yes!
